Make no mistake, it's a huge difference between being a nanny and being a bluebird.
I learned more in
my first six months at The Bluebirds than I did in five years of nannying.

Employment with The Bluebirds

Becoming a bluebird is no easy task. We hire only the very best of the best and associates tend to stay with us for years. We require excellence in everything we do as our reputation is based upon going the extra mile for our clients. Our unique training program pairs you with an experienced associate to introduce you to "the bluebird way" before training with a member of senior management to ensure you have fully understood and implemented all that is expected of you. Only after a senior manager has signed off on you are you able to fly solo.

Our company prizes teamwork, dedication, timeliness, knowledge, compassion, appearance, flexibility. honesty, and a ongoing thirst for knowledge. We simply do not tolerate anyone who engages in shortcutting, guesswork, lateness or who isn't a complete and total team player. Our reputation is everything to us; everyone who works here regardless of their job or position is fully committed to our concept of excellence through teamwork.

We are proud to be a socially responsible organization and we believe that only through an ongoing and lasting commitment to those who represent the company can we expect to keep such high values and dedication. Our renumeration is high because our expectations are high; to work for us you won't be a faceless independent contractor but a prized member of a growing elite. Unlike other agencies, we offer vacation pay for everyone and subsidized health care with a low deductable is available. The Bluebirds gives extensively to charitable organizations and is a member of the Sustainable Business Network of Boston, an organization of business leaders committed to changing the way the world does business.
